Courses / SyllabusText Box: The Black American Studies program is a part of the College of Liberal Arts and follows the academic requirements of the College of Liberal Arts listed in Chapter 4. A minor in Black American Studies consists of a minimum of 20 hours which are to be selected from Black American Studies course offerings and organized according to each individual student’s field of interest.
